Vanessa Hayden is the

HEARTBEAT & PASSION

behind Partly Whimsical

ABOUT

Vanessa has a passion for interior design and a greater passion for seeing children on the Autism spectrum succeed, attain goals, and thrive. She was a former preschool teacher for over twenty years, earned her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, was a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and has worked

with many children attending Head Start.

Partly Whimsical was born in 2020 during the midst of a global pandemic and after losing a daughter to suicide. Through her faith in God, an amazing support system, and the encouragement of some remarkable young adults on the spectrum, Vanessa stepped out in faith in the midst of uncertainty. She is passionate about creating home spaces that are uniquely tailored to meet the therapeutic needs of young children with Autism.

Vanessa is passionate about creating home spaces that are safer, fun, and uniquely tailored to meet the therapeutic needs of children on the Autism spectrum. She is devoted to helping children with autism thrive

in their space, be themselves and flourish!

Like children with Autism, Vanessa has had her share of obstacles and challenges to overcome in her life. But finding strength and hope in the word of God has been her strong tower. She relies on Jesus to help her bring that same hope to those who may (in the eyes of society) seem small and insignificant.  She constantly trusts God to make the best out of every situation no matter how small it may appear. Her favorite scripture is Zechariah 4:10 “For who has despised the day of small beginnings.”

She understands things that may appear small and meaningless, can become grand and valuable!
